Labor Day, International Workers' Day, and May Day, is a day off for workers in many countries around the world.
On Eid al-Adha, Muslims demonstrate their obedience to Allah by sacrificing an animal. The holiday is inspired by a story from the Quran that is also known to Christians and Jews.
Is Kurban Bayram a Public Holiday?
This is a legal holiday for Muslims only. It is not a public holiday for the general population, so schools and most businesses are open.
