Alternative 1 - Banner rotated near top of page
- CPM based - you buy a number of impressions, and the banner will run until its budget is used.
- The banner will be rotated along with banners from other advertisers, but only one such top-of-page banner at the time.
- This means that only some users will see the banner.
- The banner impressions will normally be distributed over a time period.
- Banner sizes 468x60 and 728x90 are accepted
Alternative 2 - Permanent banner on certain pages.
- Fixed monthly price - price is determined before start, based on expected traffic.
- The banner will have permanent placement on selected pages, so that all users visiting that page will see it.
- Advertiser must commit to at least one month.
- Please tell which page you are interested in advertising on to advert@timeanddate.com and you will be provided rates and impression statistics.
Alternative 3 - Permanent advertising - bottom/skyscraper/other units
- Fixed price - price is determined before start, based on expected traffic.
- Placement will not be on top-of-page, but either as a skyscraper (120x600 or 160x600) on the right side or other units inside content.
- It will be labeled as advertising since it appears inside content.
- Availability depends on page design.
- Advertiser must commit to at least one month.
- Please tell which page, position in page and the size of banner/creative to advert@timeanddate.com and you will be provided availability, rates and impression statistics.
Features common for all advertising
- Rich media (e.g. Flash or HTML) is accepted.
- Banners must be user-friendly - no audio, no popups, expandable, intensive flashing.
- Several banners might be used in some cases.
- Hourly or daily updated reporting/statistics are provided.
- Targeting options:
- Time of day.
- Days of week.
- Site sections (e.g. Calendar or World Clock).
- Selected pages.
- Country of visitor (Geographic targeting).
- Language of visitor (as configured in the browser).
Advertising currently not accepted
- pop-ups/pop-unders.
- illegal activities.
- annoying/extremely flashing banners.
- gambling.
- adult services.
- other advertising not appropriate at timeanddate.com's sole discretion.
