Frequently Asked Questions

I upgraded the app. Why do I still see advertising?

Please ensure you received a receipt from Apple confirming the purchase.

If so, please try to restore the purchase in the settings menu by selecting Upgrade or Restore > Restore Purchase. Then restart the app.

Do I have to pay twice to use the upgrade on 2 devices?

No. Once you have purchased the upgrade you can use it on all of your devices at no extra cost. To download the upgrade on a second device, go to Settings > Upgrade or Restore > Restore Purchase. Just make sure you are logged into the same iTunes account.

I accidentally bought the upgrade. Can I get a refund?

Apple controls the entire purchasing process, including the refunds. If you would like a refund, please try following the link in the receipt you received when buying the upgrade. This should normally not be a problem within a certain time frame, but it's not us making that decision.

How do I calculate the number of days between 2 dates?

Tap on Date to Date at the bottom of your screen. Enter a start and an end date by tapping on the dates near the top. The result will show the total number of days. Select Alternative time units to see the result in other time units, such as seconds, minutes, or hours.

How do I include the time of day?

Touch the clock icon next to incl. time. Alternatively, enable Include Time under General in the Settings menu.

How do I remove the time of day?

Select Remove time after touching the clock icon. Alternatively, you can disable Include Time under General in the Settings menu.

Can I calculate a duration across time zones?

Yes, go to the Settings menu and activate Include Location. Then open the Date to Date Calculator and select locations for the start and ends dates by selecting Set place.

How do I find a date in the past or future?

Open the Add / Subtract calculator and choose a date. To calculate a date after the entered date, select Add; to calculate a date before the entered date, select Subtract. Then enter the number of years, months, weeks, and days you want to add to or subtract from the entered date.

How do I repeat a calculation in the Add / Subtract calculator?

The repeat functionality allows you to add or subtract a certain number of days multiple times in one calculation. To use it, enable Repeat and select the number of times the calculation should be carried out.

Can I share a result or date?

Yes, touch the share icon (rectangle with an upward-pointing arrow) to the right of the result and select how you want to share it. For example, you can share it in other apps, add it to your calendar, or set a reminder.

How do I save a date to my calendar?

Press the share icon (rectangle with an upward-pointing arrow) to the right of the result and choose Add to Calendar.

How do I show or hide the weekday in the result?

Open the settings menu and enable or disable Show Weekdays in Input.

Why is there sometimes an alternative result?

Sometimes there is a difference in the resulting date if the larger units (months/years) are added before the smaller units (days).

I want to become a beta tester, how does that work?

We are looking for users who would like to test future versions of the app. If you are interested, please send us your first and last name, as well as the email address you use for your iCloud account using the Submit Feedback option in the app's settings menu. You will receive an email with instructions when a new release needs to be tested.

If you do not wish to be a tester anymore, you can opt out at any time.

What about GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)?

On May 25, 2018, the European Union introduced the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ), which is legislation on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the EU.

This app does not access nor store any personal information. However, creating a support request from within the app will ask you to provide an e-mail address to allow us to respond. The support request will also gather a modest set of app-specific settings to help us resolve the support request.

The app uses Google Admob to display advertising which in turn helps fund future app development and maintenance. By granting consent, you allow Admob to provide a better-targeted advertising experience based on your interests.
