Maximum EclipseMoon is closest to the center of the shadow. Moon close to horizon, so make sure you have free sight to Northeast. Additionally, the eclipsed moon combined with dimming near horizon might make the Moon very hard or impossible to see.
The curvature of the shadow's path and the apparent rotation of the Moon's disk is due to the Earth's rotation.
During this partial lunar eclipse, the Earth's shadow covered only parts of the Moon, as seen from Igarka. There were no other locations on Earth where the Moon appeared completely covered during this event. The Earth's shadow covered a large portion of the Moon, so this was still a nice sight.
