First Girl Born as Heir to the Throne

Princess Ingrid Alexandra is the eldest daughter of Crown Prince er eldste datter av H.R.H Crown Prince Haakon and H.R.H Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

The Princess is granddaughter to H.M. King Harald V and H.M. Queen Sonja and second in line for the Norwegian thrown after her father. She is the first Norwegian girl ever to be born with this right after the constitution was changed to allow female heirs to the thrown in 1990.
