In Norway, Mother's Day is always on the second Sunday in February. It is a day for showing appreciation towards mothers and mother figures.

Is Mother's Day a Public Holiday?

Mother's Day is not in itself a public holiday in Norway. However, as it always falls on a Sunday, most businesses are closed, and the shops which are open follow restricted Sunday opening hours.
