Renate joined the timeanddate team in 2024. With a PhD in Cosmology from the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Oslo, she contributes to the astronomy content on timeanddate.com and timeanddate.no.
As our in-house data analyst, she can often be found analyzing large datasets for patterns and trends. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, reading, and curling up on the sofa with a steaming hot cup of tea.
I love that we get to share the wonders of the Universe through our astronomy content. Keeping it both accurate and accessible is important, and I really enjoy diving headfirst into rabbit holes to dig up the nitty-gritty details.
