When to See the Full Moon in February
February’s Full Moon is at its most illuminated at 13:53 UTC on February 12, 2025.
The Moon will appear full in the days before and after peak illumination, and is the only phase in which the Moon is up all night. Moonrise and moonset generally occur around sunset and sunrise.
We often say that the Full Moon does the opposite of the Sun. In February, it will be up for more than 12 hours in the Northern Hemisphere, while it will be up for less than 12 hours in the Southern Hemisphere.
