As a Senior Backend Developer with us, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Ensuring our ever-expanding code base adheres to our standards of quality.
- Creating software architecture for new applications/components and contributing to refactoring strategies as we migrate from C to Rust.
- Having an eye (or two) for detail when supplying the team with code reviews and feedback.
- Sharing your technical insights and being open to new learning experiences.
- Collaborating and developing highly optimized and advanced algorithms and working on big data sets.
- Letting out your organizational side in our core libraries and repositories.
- Continuously contributing and implementing code standards.

Your desk can be (a bit) messy, but your code should be of high quality, clean, standards-compliant, and accessible to ensure we keep our SEO score golden.
Be sure to let us know in your application if you are also familiar with developing or consuming web API services, software testing (Unit testing++), and containers and Kubernetes, as this will be a plus!
We are open to candidates with a niche skillset in our field or the services we provide but would love it if you also have a Computer Science degree - however, this is not necessarily a dealbreaker.
The only requirement written in stone is that you have a genuine love for Backend, a curious nature, and that you are comfortable with our corporate language being English.
