Countdown iOS App Support

Any event which uses one of the standard themes can be shared on Facebook. However, an event created using the Custom Image theme will not include the photo when shared and will instead show a generic theme.

The old app was in dire need of an upgrade. We also wanted to make it consistent with the online and Android versions. It is a complete rewrite, which will also allow us to maintain the app more frequently.

If you still see ads after having purchased the upgrade or in-app purchase, please go to Settings and then Purchase or Restore. Tap the Restore Purchase button at the bottom of the screen.

If it looks like your countdown is off by 1 hour, it is most likely because clocks will be set forward or back due to Daylight Saving Time (DST) before the countdown ends.

Tap Edit in the main list view. Press the icon depicting three gray lines to drag any event up or down the list. Tap Done when you are done.

Tap on the + icon in the top-right corner of the screen to create a new countdown. Make your selections, then tap Save in the top-right corner.

After tapping the + icon in the top-right corner of the screen, swipe the thumbnails beneath the main image to see all available themes. Tap on a thumbnail to select it and view it as a larger image. Tap Save when you’re done.

Swipe left until you find the camera thumbnail and select it. Tap the round camera button on the theme. Complete the in-app purchase to get access to your images. Then select the image you want from your photos. Tap Save when you’re done.

In the list view (where all your countdowns are shown), tap Edit in the top-right corner, and then tap the red minus button to the left of the name to delete. Then tap Done in the top-right corner.

Tap on the event, then tap Edit in the top-right corner. After you have changed your countdown, tap Save in the top-right corner.

Simply enter a date and time that lies in the past and the countdown will automatically count up. However, please make sure to disable Stop countdown at zero. You will find that option by tapping on Options in the Create or Edit view.

In the Create or Edit view, tap Options at the bottom of the screen. Turn on Repeat Yearly.

On May 25, 2018, the European Union introduced the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ), which is legislation on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the EU.

This app does not access nor store any personal information. However, creating a support request from within the app will ask you to provide an e-mail address to allow us to respond. The support request will also gather a modest set of app-specific settings to help us resolve the support request.

The app uses Google Admob to display advertising which in turn helps fund future app development and maintenance. By granting consent, you allow Admob to provide a better-targeted advertising experience based on your interests.

The app allows you to share information to Facebook but does not use any personal information to achieve this goal.
