New Holidays for King Charles III

The United Kingdom has a new king, and Charles III’s coronation on May 6, 2023 has allowed many countries around the world to introduce new bank holidays in his honor.

Charles Philip Arthur George Mountbatten-Windsor was crowned King of the United Kingdom on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Most parts of the United Kingdom, as well as many countries closely related and bound to the British monarchy, have introduced a bank holiday to celebrate the coronation of Charles III.
