Lawmakers in Greenland have decided to change the time zone by one hour from UTC-3 to UTC-2.

The time zone change does not include the areas of Ittoqqortoormiit, Danmarkshavn, and the Thule Air Base.

Changes in March 2023

On Saturday, March 25, at 22:00 (10 pm) Western Greenland Time (WGT), most people in Greenland will set their clocks forward 1 hour—the same time Greenlanders usually set their clocks forward for Daylight Saving Time (DST).

However, in October 2023, Greenlanders will not set their clocks back again but remain on the new standard time of UTC-2.
