Possibly created by someone who loved doing the same thing over and over again, Repeat Day is an unofficial holiday that encourages people to re-do or re-state things multiple times. It is unclear why someone invented a holiday that would make celebrators sound like a broken record.

While Repeat Day is definitely one of the more bizarre holidays out there, it needs very little preparation or effort to celebrate - all you need to do is repeat yourself ad infinitum!

How to Celebrate?

If there is an activity that you like to do over and over again, today is the day for you to do it. Here are some other ways you can do to celebrate this quirky holiday:

  • Repeat everything you say or do.
  • Have 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners.
  • When having a conversation with a friend, repeat after your friend. Let them know that you are celebrating Repeat Day, lest they think you are rude.
  • Watch movies where events repeat themselves, such as Groundhog Day and Edge of Tomorrow.

Did You Know…

…that the plot device employed in a film or story where a certain span of time repeats itself is called a time loop?
